Before entering the world of corporate finance, we spent over a decade managing flagship retail stores for brands such as Uniqlo, Gap, Banana Republic, West Elm, and Saks Fifth Avenue—in cities like New York, Chicago, and Detroit. These roles demanded hands-on leadership across operations, sales, logistics, human resources, and merchandising. We developed and executed merchandising strategies, optimized inventory flow, and trained high-performing teams—all while consistently exceeding financial and customer service targets.
This operational foundation gave us a front-line understanding of how small businesses run—from staffing and shrink management to pricing strategy and customer experience—which now informs our consulting approach.
